Thanks to Malaysia’s tropical climate, it is almost always warm and sunny in Port Dickson. The average temperature usually hits around 27 – 30 degrees Celcius during the day. At night when the sun sets, the air becomes cooler and will be around 25 – 23 degrees Celcius. The weather stays dry most of the year with light rainfall except during the inter-monsoon seasons of April and October.

There are spots on the beaches for you to pitch your tent should you enjoy sleeping in the great outdoors so you might want to bring your camping gear along. It is important that you bring your mosquito repellent along particularly if you will be trekking in the jungle otherwise you will be swarmed by the pesky bugs. Many tourists stopover at Port Dickson en route to Kuala Lumpur or Malacca as the driving time is approximately 1 hour either way. People often stay here for the weekend or some even make it a day trip just to enjoy the many beautiful beaches of Port Dickson.
